Reynolds wants people to make s’mores pickles

Reynolds Kitchens has come up with some pretty interesting things when it comes to food. Earlier this year, they encouraged people celebrating Easter to think a little outside the box about eating ham for the holiday with recipes that took the idea of ”candied ham” to a whole different level. They’ve also come up with some exciting and bold Thanksgiving ideas with classics like Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Turkey, Glitter Turkey, and even Chicago-Style Hot Dot Turkey. Now, Reynolds is taking a new vacation with their creative dining ideas. Just in time for National S’mores Day on August 10th, Reynolds is encouraging people to try pickled s’mores.

Yes, I assure you you read that correctly. Reynolds Kitchens has dropped their latest recipes, this time using their parchment paper with SmartGrid. Very simple, Pickle S’mores is a classic s’mores with pickles added well. We’re not sure if you’re supposed to use dill pickles or sweet pickles though that would definitely make an interesting difference to this wild idea. This will definitely be a conversation starter and you can check out the recipe for yourself over here.

If Pickle S’mores has a bit of a hit on you, you can always try Caramel S’more and Bacon Cookies. These also use parchment paper with SmartGrid, a high-density, natural paper that contains SmartGrid to make baking easier and can be used up to three times per baking session, but they also bring a savory element to the dessert with their combination of chocolate, caramel, marshmallow, and bacon. You can check out this recipe over here.

Finally, if adventure isn’t at all in your plans, you can still celebrate National S’mores Day with more traditional Campfire Crunch cookies featuring graham crackers and toasted marshmallows. This recipe can be found over here.

As noted above, these are just the latest interesting recipes from Reynolds. Last year, the brand came out with three Thanksgiving turkey-inspired hot dog recipes, and before that, they had some other interesting turkey recipes as well, including Turkey Pecan Pie, Ginger Turkey, Chocolate Turkey, Mac and Cheese Turkey, and Mountain Turkey Duo, and even Turkey Cole Ranch. All of these recipes are also available on Reynolds’ website.
